Syntax

-cpu -cpux -cpux64k

Description

Specifies the version of the instruction set to generate code for. The options are:

• -cpu — MSP430 instruction set
• -cpux — MSP430X instruction set with 20-bit PC
• -cpux64k — MSP430X instruction set with 16-bit PC

Example

To select compilation for MSP430X architecture you would use:

cc -cpux …
